I love to read!

Life of Pi - Student Edition

Life of Pi - Yann Martel I saw the movie trailer for Life Of Pi and thought it looked magical and impressive and I've read a lot of reviews that say it is just that. Given that, I was really excited to read the book first.I tried sooo hard to like this book, but after 148 tedious pages I literally wanted to throw it up the wall. It was just painfully frustrating to get through. One minute it felt as though I was reading a National Geographic book about different species of animals, then it felt like a book about religion, then a survival guide.Needless to say, I really did not like this book. I will go and see the movie though, mostly for the amazing effects and the 3D, and to see if it explains the story without me having to waste days of reading and wanting to tear the book to shreds.
